By purchasing, downloading, or using Droptrap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the software.

2. Product Description

Droptrap is a downloadable desktop software application (digital product) for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The software provides local domain name monitoring, WHOIS lookup tools, and alert notifications. Droptrap is delivered electronically as a digital download immediately upon successful payment.

3. License Grant

Upon purchase, Droptrap grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the software on your personal or business machines. This license is tied to your account and may not be shared, rented, or resold.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Droptrap only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your domain monitoring activities comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, as well as the terms of service of any WHOIS registries you query.

5. Payment & Delivery

Payments are processed securely through Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. Polar.sh handles all payment processing, international tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales tax), and transaction security. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Polar.sh's terms of service.

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

Immediate access to download links for all supported platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux)
A license key delivered via email to activate the software
Access to future updates for the purchased version

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 4 day, no-questions-asked refund policy. If you are not satisfied with Droptrap for any reason, you may request a full refund within 4 days of your purchase date.

To request a refund, contact support@droptrap.com with your order details. Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days.

7. Updates & Support

Your perpetual license includes access to all updates released for the software version you purchased. We provide email support for technical issues and licensing questions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

DROPTRAP IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SECURE ANY SPECIFIC DOMAIN NAME.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Droptrap be liable for any damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption arising out of the use or inability to use the software.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the software after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
